This year's prosthetic character theme is American Werewolf in London.
The Prosthetic Character competition is on Sunday. This contest is a prosthetic challenge in which you will create a werewolf character. The time limit for the character competition is three hours. No outside prosthetics are allowed, only the ones supplied by IMATS.

This year’s Prosthetic Character theme is American Werewolf in London. Using appliances provided on the day of the competition, and a good dose of ingenuity, you will create an original character who has turned into or is turning into a werewolf.

In honor of make-up legend Rick Baker, who won the first Oscar for Acheivement in Make-up in 1982 for American Werewolf in London and is currently working on a re-make of the movie classic The Wolf Man, this year's prosthetic competition is focused on turning your model into a hairy monster who can only be stopped by a silver bullett.
